Vivendo a Firenze per un semestre, gli studenti della James Madison University hanno avuto l’opportunità di visitare anche molte altre città italiane ed europee. Ecco le loro testimonianze.

In Italia, mi piace Assisi e Firenze molto. Firenze ha molta storia e arte. Venezia è molto fredda e noiosa in febbraio. Le gondole nell’acqua sono molto romantiche. Assisi è interessante e piccola. Firenze è migliore perchè è avventurosa e divertente sempre. Sfortunatamente, la città è molto costosa ma il cibo e le persone sono fantastiche!

Sono andato a Roma, in Italia, e a Barcellona, in Spagna. Sono stato tre giorni a Roma e quattro giorni a Barcellona. Ci sono andato con due amiche. Il viaggio è stato lungo e molto caro però ho visitato molti posti e dei musei. Mi sono piaciuti molto il Colosseo e las Ramblas a Barcellona, las Rablas è molto divertente e strana. E’ stato un viaggio romantico per me e le mie amiche e molto rilassante.

Ho viaggiato ad Amsterdam per il mio primo viaggio in Europa. E 'stato molto divertente, ma la gente è un po' strana. E 'stato bello perché mi piacciono i canali che mi hanno ricordato di Venezia. Venezia era bella ma era un po 'noiosa per me allo stesso tempo. Tornerò ancora un giorno in futuro con mia moglie perché lei probabilmente la vorrà vedere. I miei posti preferiti che ho visitato durante il mio soggiorno in Italia sono Londra e Barcellona. C'è così tanto da vedere ed è stato un grande viaggio con i miei amici. Il tempo a Barcellona è stato sorprendente e il palazzo di Buckingham era così bello a Londra. Anche le persone a Londra sono state molto gentili con noi, e tutti parlavano inglese! Nel periodo pasquale andiamo in Slovacchia, Ungheria e Romania, sarà un viaggio molto divertente e io sono super eccitato, ma sono anche nervoso allo stesso tempo.

Il viaggio è stato avventuroso perchè ho visitato ovunque! Visitato il mare, discoteche, monumenti, chiese, musei, e attrazioni. Siamo andati a fare spese. Il viaggio è stato stressante perchè molto lungo e c’erano molte cose da scoprire. Ma abbiamo visto così tanto e abbiamo fatto molte cose interessanti. Alla fine era un viaggio molto divertente.

Tre settimane fa, sono andato a Parigi, in Francia e a Barcellona, in Spagna. Sono stato cinque giorni a Parigi e cinque giorni in Barca… E’ stato un buon viaggio per me! Quando sono stato a Parigi, ho visitato un’amica che studia all’università di Sorbonne e abita a Parigi vicino al Pantheon. Abbiamo visto la Torre Eiffel, il Museo d’Orsay e Louvre, la Basilica di Sacre Couer, e la Chiesa di Notre Dame. Anche a Parigi, siamo andati ai negozi interessanti e divertenti, come la libreria ‘Shakespeare & Co.’, un negozio che vende ‘music boxes’, e altri negozi. Abbiamo mangiato fondue e adesso è la mia preferita! Dopo Parigi sono andato a Barcelona da solo per cinque giorni. Era molto rilassante nonostante la follia della città. Mi sono stancato a camminare tanto, ma mi è piaciuta Barca per le spiagge, la Sagrada Familia, e il Parque Montejuic.

Ho visitato molte città mentre studio in Italia. Ho visitato Roma, Assisi, Venezia e Siena in Italia. Anche, ho visitato Barcellona, Londra, Amsterdam, Interlaken, e visiterò Bratislava, Budapest e Constanta. Le mie città preferite erano Roma e Londra. In entrambe le città c’era così tanto da vedere. A Londra ho visto il Parlamento, il Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, e molte chiese. La notte, sono andato nei bar e ho bevuto con persone inglesi. Roma era la mia altra città preferita. Ho visto tutto a Roma. Il Colosseo era il mio preferito Era interessante vederlo perché l’ho visto in così tanti film. Ho amato anche la storia di Roma. Non mi è piaciuta Assisi. Era piccola e non c’era molto da vedere. La più cara città era Londra e la più economica città era Amsterdam.

Sono andata a Milano con mia mamma e mio padre tre settimane fa. Mio zio Ettore vive a Milano con mia nonna Angela e mio nonno Mario. Li abbiamo visti ma prima Ettore ha ci ha regalato un giro a Milano. Abbiamo visto il Duomo di Milano, la strada della moda, e la fortezza con i gatti. É stato molto interessante! Ci sono molte persone nella città, ma è bene perchè la città è molto grande. Abbiamo visto la fontana nella piazza ed è stato molto romantico. Perchè eravamo stanchi, abbiamo comprato gelato e abbiamo guardato le gente. Poi, abbiamo salito le scale del Duomo di Milano. Che bello! É molto antico con le statue. Alla fine, siamo andati alla casa di mia nonna, e lei ha cucinato un grande pasto per tutti! É stato il mio viaggio favorito, molto divertente e rilassante. Voglio tornare!

In Italy, I like Assisi and Florence a lot. Florence has a lot of history and art. Venice is very cold and boring in February. The gondole in the water are very romantic. Assisi is interesting and small. Florence is the best because it is adventurous and fun all the time. Unfortunately, the city is very expensive but the food and people are fantastic!

I went to Rome, in Italy, and Barcelona, in Spain. I stayed for three days in Rome and four days in Barcelona. I went with my two good friends. The trip was long and kinda expensive but I visited a lot of places and some museums. I liked the Coliseum and Las Ramblas in Barcelon, I mean Las Ramblas was very fun but also very strange. All together the trip was romantic with my woman friends and very relaxing.

I traveled to Amsterdam for my first trip in Europe. It was a lot of fun but the people are a little weird. It was cool because I like the canals it reminded me of Venice. Venice was beautiful but it was a little boring for me at the same time. I will go back again someday with my wife since she will probably want to see it. My favorite places that I have visited during my stay in Italy are London and Barcelona. There is so much to see and it was a great trip with my friends. The weather in Barcelona was amazing and the Buckingham palace was so beautiful in London. Also the people in London were very nice to us, and they all spoke English! During Easter we are going to Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania it is going to be a very fun trip and I am super excited but I am also nervous at the same time.

I went to Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid in Spain. I stayed four days in Barcelona, three days in Madrid and three days in Valencia. I went with ten friends. The trip was very adventurous because we visited everywhere! We went to the sea, discotheques, monuments, churches, museums, and attractions. We went shopping. The trip was stressful because it was very long and we had to find our way. But we saw so much and did a lot of cool things. In the end, it was a very fun trip.

Three weeks ago, I went to Paris, France and Barcelona, Spain. I was in Paris for five days and in Barca for five days ... was a good trip for me! When was Paris, I visited a friend who studied and lived in Sorbornne University of Paris near the Pantheon. We saw the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and Orsay museums, the Basilica of Sacre Coeur and the Church of Notre Dame. Also in Paris, we went to fun and interesting shops, such as Liberia 'Shakespeare & Co.', a shop selling 'music boxes' and other shops. We ate fondue and now it is my favorite! After Paris, I went to Barcelona for five days alone. Was very relaxed despite the madness of the city. I was tiring to walk, but I liked Barca for the beaches, the Sagrada Familia and Parque Montejuic.

I visited a lot of cities while studying in Italy. I visited Rome, Assisi, Venice, and Siena in Italy. Also, I have visited Barcelona, London, Amsterdam, Interlaken, and I will visit Bratislava, Budapest, and Constanta. My favorite cities were Rome and London. In both cities there were a lot of things to see. In London, I saw Parliament, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and a lot of churches. At night, I went to the bars and drank with English people. Rome was my other favorite city. I saw everything in Rome. The Coliseum was my favorite. It was interesting to see it because I saw it in a lot of films. I also loved the history of Rome. I didn’t like Assisi. It was small and not a lot to see. The most expensive city was London and the cheapest city was Amsterdam.

I went to Milan with my mom and my dad three weeks ago. My Uncle Ettore lives in Milan with my grandma Angela and my Grandpa Mario. WE saw them but first Ettore gave us a tour of Milan. We saw the Duomo of Milan, the fashion street, and the fortress with all the cats. I was very interesting! There are a lot of people in the city, but it was okay because the city is very big. We saw the fountain in the square, it was very romantic. Because we were tired, we bought gelato e watched the people. Then, we climbed the stairs to the top of the Duomo of Milan. How beautiful! It was very antique with all the statues. Finally, we went to my Grandmothers house e she cooked a big meal for everyone! It was my favorite trip, very fun and relaxing. I want to go back : )
