Quando sei a Firenze è molto importante la spesa con i tuoi amiciperché c’è molto da pagare. Noi non compriamo vestiti, ma il cibo sì,perché c'è un sacco di cibo in Italia. Quando si è alla ricerca dicibo da comprare è importante ricordare che c'è un sacco di cibobuono e cattivo, anche in Italia. Così, con questo in mente, si devonoguardare prima i ristoranti con menù solo in italiano. Questo è moltoimportante perché i menu che sono in inglese e in italiano non sonobuoni. Questi ristoranti sono per i turisti, non per il popoloitaliano. Così state lontano da questi e godetevi il cibo nei veriristoranti italiani. Questi ristoranti avranno anche cibo che èbellissimo, culturale, e perfetto.

La Cucina
Ci sono molti aspetti della cucina italiana che creano una cultura unica. Uno degli aspetti più importanti è il clima in Italia. Il clima è molto vario. E 'possibile far crescere gli ingredienti più freschi. La cucina italiana è spesso fatta con gli ingredienti più freschi. La differenza tra il gusto degli ingredienti industriale e il gusto degli ingredienti freschi è molto diversa. Trippa alla Fiorentina:
Ingredienti per 6 persone:1 Kg. Di trippa2 cipolle rosse2 carote1 sedano1/2 kg. Di pomodori pelatiParmigiano grattatoOlio d’oliva
Lavate la trippa e tagliatela a striscioline di curca 7-8 cm di lunghezza. Preparate un battuto con le cipolle il sedano e le carote triturate in piccoli pezzi e fatelo soffriggere con un po’ d’olio d’oliva. Appena la cipolla comincia ad appassire unite la trippa e girate spesso per fare insaporire la carne. Dopo 15-20 minuti aggiungete i pomodori pelati sgocciolati da cui avrete avuto cura di togliere i semi per eliminare l'acidità. Salate, pepate e fate cuocere ancora un’oretta a fuoco basso per far ritirare il liquido della trippa e dei pomodori.

Il calcio in Italia è lo sport più popolare nel paese. Le persone sono molto appassionate delle loro squadre e ci sono un sacco di rivalità tra le squadre e i tifosi provenienti da diverse parti del paese. Ma tutti si riuniscono per il tifo per la squadra nazionale italiana, quando prendono parte alla Coppa del Mondo e alle Olimpiadi. Quattro anni fa l'Italia ha vinto la Coppa del Mondo ed è stato un risultato straordinario per i giocatori. Non sono stato ad una partita da quando vivo in Italia, ma spero di vedere una partita della Fiorentina presto. Il mio amico mi ha detto che i giochi sono molto divertenti e tutti urlano e gli applausi sono molto forti, che suona come un tempo impressionante!

Le Feste Italiane
In Italia, celebrano molte feste. Le feste popolari sono normali: Natale, Anno Nuovo, e Pasqua. L’Epifania è una festa importante. Le persone in Italia celebrano l’ Epifania il 6 gennaio. Quando la chiesa cattolica ha iniziato a celebrare Natale il 25 dicembre, il significato dell’Epifania è cambiato. A Roma, l’Epifania celebra la fine del periodo natalizio.Un’ altra festa importante è Ferragosto. Il 15 agosto, celebrano l’Assunzione di Maria al cielo. Ci sono le celebrazioni nelle strade e le preghiere a Maria per avere il suo aiuto.Il 25 aprile è il giorno della Liberazione in Italia. Celebrano la liberazione dell’Italia da parte delle truppe alleate nella seconda guerra mondiale.Il Primo Maggio è la festa dei lavoratori; è anche un giorno per i partiti politici di sinistra per protestare le loro cause.Queste sono solo alcune delle feste speciali celebrate in Italia.

Pasqua a Firenze
La Pasqua è la celebrazione cattolica della risurrezione di Cristo. E’ il giorno più importante nel calendario cattolico. La Pasqua è la prima domenica dopo il primo plenilunio, dopo l’Equinozio di Primavera. Ci sono quaranta giorni prima della domenica di Pasqua, e gli ultimi tre giorni prima della Quaresima sono molti gioiosi - uno dei giorni si chiama "Martedi Grasso" o "Carnevale". Il cibo tradizionale di Pasqua sono: le uova, l’ agnello arrosto, e la torta Pasqualina. Non c'è il coniglietto di Pasqua, ma le uova di cioccolato sono decorate e sono molto belle. La torta ufficiale di Pasqua è la Colomba, ed è un simbolo di pace e dello spirito santo.
Durante la messa di mezzogiorno alla Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore c’è la celebrazione “Scoppio del Carro.” I’arcivescovo accende un razzo in forma della colomba – il razzo va lungo il filo del carrello nella Piazza del Duomo davanti al Battistero di San Giovanni e ci sono i fuochi d'artificio. Tutte le persone nella Piazza applaudono.
Prima dello Scoppio del Carro, l’arcivescovo dice una benedizione al fuoco e spruzza le persone nella chiesa e vicino al Battistero con l’acqua santa che ha benedetto la sera avanti durante la liturgia della vigilia. Dopo questo, il clero torna alla Cattedrale e mentre tutti cantano “Gloria” la celebrazione della Scoppio del Carro accade.

When you're in Florence it is very important to do some shopping with your friendsbecause there is so much to buy. We do not buy clothes, but the food,because there is a lot of good food in Italy. When you are looking forfood to buy it is important to remember that there is a lot of foodgood and bad, even in Italy. So with this in mind, you mustlook before going into the restaurants, a good place to start is with the menus. This is veryimportant because the menus in English and Italian are notgood. These restaurants are for tourists, not for the Italian People.
So stay away from these and enjoy the food in the realItalian restaurants. These restaurants will also have food that isbeautiful, cultural, and tasty.

There are many aspects of Italian cuisine to create a unique culture. One of the most important aspects is the climate in Italy. The climate is very diverse. It is possible to grow the freshest ingredients. Italian cuisine is often made with the freshest ingredients. The difference between the taste of artificial ingredients and the taste of fresh ingredients is very different. With fresh cheeses, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables and the finest wines and olive oils, the taste of Italian cuisine is exceptional. The preparation of Italian food is different. Many Italian homes need many hours to prepare fresh ingredients. This includes making fresh pasta and sauce. A good example of this is that every American home has a microwave, but very few Italian houses have one. I like to say that the food in Italy is made with the heart, while the food in America is made with the wallet.

Soccer is the most popular sport in Italy. People are very passionate about their teams and there are many rivalries between different teams and fans from different parts of the country. But everyone comes together to cheer for the Italian national team, when they take part in the World Cup and the Olympics. Four years ago Italy won the World Cup this was an extraordinary achievement for the players. I have not been to a game since I have lived in Italy, but I hope to see Fiorentina play a match soon. My friend told me that the games are a lot of fun and everyone screams and cheers for their squad very loud, that sounds like an awesome time to me!

In Italy, they celebrate many holidays. The popular holidays are normal: Christmas, New Years and Easter. Epiphany is an important holiday. The people of Italy celebrate Epiphany on January 6. When the catholic church began to celebrate Christmas on Dec. 25th, the meaning of Epiphany changed. In Rome, Epiphany celebrates the end of the Christmas season.Another important holiday is Ferragosto. On August 15, they celebrate the rise of Mary to heaven. There are celebrations in the street and prayers to Mary for support.April 25 is liberation day in Italia. They celebrate the liberation of Italy by Allied troops in the second world war.The first day of May is the workers holiday. It is also a day for the political parties to the left to protest their causes.These are only some of the special holidays celebrated in Italy.

Easter in Florence
Easter is a Catholic holiday that celebrates the resurrection of Christ. It is the most important day in the Catholic calendar. Easter is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox. Lent is the time of fourty days before Easter Sunday, and the last three days before Lent is very joyful – these days are called “Fat Tuesday” or “Carnivale”. The traditional foods of Easter are: eggs, roasted lamb, and Easter cake. There is no easter bunny in Italy, but there are chocolate eggs that are decorated and are very beautiful. The official Easter cake is Colomba, and is a symbol of peace and the holy spirit.
During the noon mass at the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore there is a celebration of the “Exploding Cart” (Scoppio del Carro). The archbishop lights a rocket in the shape of a dove – the rocket goes along a wire to the cart in the middle of the Piazza del Duomo between the Baptistry of Saint John and sets off fireworks. All the people in the Piazza cheer.
Before the Scoppio del Carro, the archbishop says a blessing on the dire and sprinkles the people in the church and close to the Baptistry with the holy water that was blessed at the Easter vigil mass. After this, the clergy returns to the Cathedral and while everyone sings the Gloria, the celebration of the Scoppio del Carro happens.

The many persons who come into town to meet with religious services only other tourists who are there to visit the shops and markets, leaving little room to walk through the crowded streets of this small Italian town. Many Catholics are there for the weekend to attend Mass, and it is almost impossible to walk to Piazza del Duomo, because there are so many people. The Monday after Easter weekend is celebrated as a national holiday, and most businesses are closed for business.

The fashion of Italy is the most famous in the world. Because Milano is the fashion capital of the world, it is always the best fashion. The country is known for the fabric and the tailoring. Important editors and writers attend. Also, there are three days for men fashion, it is called Pitti Uomo. This is very close, in Florence!Fashion in Italy is almost a national passion. All you need to do to see the latest trends is walk down the cobble stone streets or observe one of the many piazzas. Italians take great pride in their style and figures. The designer that they choose to wear is not only important for the name, but also for the quality. For Italians, it is not about the clothes at all. Four years ago Italy won the World Cup this was an extraordinary achievement for the players. I have not been to a game since I have lived in Italy, but I hope to see Fiorentina play a match soon. My friend told me that the games are a lot of fun and everyone screams and cheers for their squad very loud, that sounds like an awesome time to me!

Italian Holidays
In Italy, they celebrate many holidays. The popular holidays are normal: Christmas, New Years and Easter. Epiphany is an important holiday. The people of Italy celebrate Epiphany on January 6. When the catholic church began to celebrate Christmas on Dec. 25th, the meaning of Epiphany changed. In Rome, Epiphany celebrates the end of the Christmas season.Another important holiday is Ferragosto. On August 15, they celebrate the rise of Mary to heaven. There are celebrations in the street and prayers to Mary for support.April 25 is liberation day in Italia. They celebrate the liberation of Italy by Allied troops in the second world war.The first day of May is the workers holiday. It is also a day for the political parties to the left to protest their causes.These are only some of the special holidays celebrated in Italy.

Easter in Florence
Easter is a Catholic holiday that celebrates the resurrection of Christ. It is the most important day in the Catholic calendar. Easter is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox. Lent is the time of fourty days before Easter Sunday, and the last three days before Lent is very joyful – these days are called “Fat Tuesday” or “Carnivale”. The traditional foods of Easter are: eggs, roasted lamb, and Easter cake. There is no easter bunny in Italy, but there are chocolate eggs that are decorated and are very beautiful. The official Easter cake is Colomba, and is a symbol of peace and the holy spirit.
During the noon mass at the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore there is a celebration of the “Exploding Cart” (Scoppio del Carro). The archbishop lights a rocket in the shape of a dove – the rocket goes along a wire to the cart in the middle of the Piazza del Duomo between the Baptistry of Saint John and sets off fireworks. All the people in the Piazza cheer.
Before the Scoppio del Carro, the archbishop says a blessing on the dire and sprinkles the people in the church and close to the Baptistry with the holy water that was blessed at the Easter vigil mass. After this, the clergy returns to the Cathedral and while everyone sings the Gloria, the celebration of the Scoppio del Carro happens.

Easter in the city of FlorenceThe Easter weekend in Florence is one of the most intense periods throughout the year. The many persons who come into town to meet with religious services only other tourists who are there to visit the shops and markets, leaving little room to walk through the crowded streets of this small Italian town. Many Catholics are there for the weekend to attend Mass, and it is almost impossible to walk to Piazza del Duomo, because there are so many people. The Monday after Easter weekend is celebrated as a national holiday, and most businesses are closed for business.

The fashion of Italy is the most famous in the world. Because Milano is the fashion capital of the world, it is always the best fashion. The country is known for the fabric and the tailoring. Every year, there is a week for shows of the most important fashion designers; Missoni, Chanel, Ferragamo e Luis Vuitton have shows. All the designers have a show where they present their clothes. Important editors and writers attend. Also, there are three days for men fashion, it is called Pitti Uomo. This is very close, in Florence!Fashion in Italy is almost a national passion. All you need to do to see the latest trends is walk down the cobble stone streets or observe one of the many piazzas. Italians take great pride in their style and figures. The designer that they choose to wear is not only important for the name, but also for the quality. For Italians, it is not about the clothes at all. Italian fashion is actually all about an attitude; an attitude of custom-made, fluid, sophistication.Fashion is a very important part of Italian culture. There are many famous designers from Italy. Some are Gianni and Donatella Versace, Giorgio Armani, and Roberto Cavalli. I can see these fashion designer's shops on my way to school every morning. There are other fashion designer's shops that I see during my walk. These designers are not from Italy but are also very famous. Including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Dior. All these designers sell expensive clothes, purses, and sunglasses.
